Size Guide & Garment Care
The Perfect Fit: Size Guide
At Surreal Persian, we want your wearable art to feel as good as it looks. Our silhouettes are designed for a modern, comfortable fit that allows the artwork to drape naturally.
How to Measure
To ensure the best fit, we recommend measuring a favorite garment you already own and comparing it to the charts below.
-
Width: Measure across the chest, 1 inch below the armpit, from side to side.
-
Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem.
Unisex Artwear (Standard Fit)
| Size | Width (cm/in) | Length (cm/in) |
| S | 45cm / 18" | 71cm / 28" |
| M | 51cm / 20" | 73cm / 29" |
| L | 56cm / 22" | 76cm / 30" |
| XL | 61cm / 24" | 78cm / 31" |
| 2XL | 66cm / 26" | 81cm / 32" |
Designer’s Tip: For a more relaxed "Streetwear" look, we recommend ordering one size up from your usual fit.
Art Preservation: Garment Care
Each piece of Surreal Persian Artwear is created using high-fidelity digital printing to capture the depth of our Persian motifs. To keep your "wearable canvas" vibrant and the fabric soft for years to come, please follow these care instructions:
1. The Gentle Wash
-
Inside Out: Always turn your garment inside out before washing. This protects the printed artwork from friction with other clothes.
-
Cold Water: Use a cold machine wash (max 30°C / 86°F). High heat can degrade the fibers and the ink over time.
-
Mild Detergent: Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, which can strip the colors of the intricate patterns.
2. Drying with Care
-
Air Dry (Recommended): The best way to preserve your art is to hang it to dry in the shade. Direct Australian sunlight can cause fading.
-
Tumble Dry: If you must use a dryer, use the lowest heat setting (tumble dry low).
3. Ironing
-
Never Iron the Print: If the garment needs ironing, turn it inside out and use a cool iron. Never apply a hot iron directly to the printed design, as this will damage the motifs.1
4. Wear it Proudly
-
Because our items are made-to-order, you may notice a slight "new print" scent or a faint residue. This is a normal part of the eco-friendly printing process and will disappear completely after the first wash.
